Krunchy Fried Games is a two man indie operation featuring Michael Maiden as the technical wing and myself, Dominic O'Reilly, doing a variety of weird and wonderful creative things in whatever free time I have when not working at the hospital.
Named after the Central Manchester takeaway our team used to visit on lunch breaks when we worked as coders to a railway maintenance firm (I could tell you tales, but I fear the sheer excitement might overwhelm you), we specialise in intriguing and quirky story-based adventures.
Our first game- Witches and Bandits and Swords (Oh My)- was released in 2017 and based on the book which was shortlisted for a Reader's Choice Award for Fantasy. The Bunny Hill Horror series is more technically sophisticated and features interactive puzzles, 'on location' backgrounds from Staffordshire, and Bunny Hill castle even became one of Stoke-on-Trent's top locations on Google Maps until someone spoilt the fun and told them it doesn't really exist. We are now working on a point and click detective adventure so please follow us if that sounds like your thing.
If you enjoy our games- or can offer constructive criticism- comments, ratings and donations are always valued :)
